Meet Jenny Parsons

Jenny Parsons is a nationally recognized coach and former NCAA Division I athlete with a legacy of excellence that spans over three decades. Recently retired from collegiate coaching, Jenny brings her unmatched experience and passion for player development to athletes of all levels through personalized training and mentorship.

A standout from the start, Jenny is celebrated as one of the greatest female athletes in Anne Arundel County history. A three-sport star, she earned First-Team All-County and Capital Gazette Player of the Year honors in volleyball, basketball, and softball. Her athletic journey continued at East Carolina University, where she became a two-sport collegiate athlete, earning all-conference honors in both volleyball and softball. As a dominant pitcher, she graduated holding ECU records for ERA (1.52), innings pitched (969.1), wins (102), and shutouts (34), and at one point led NCAA Division I with 38 wins in a single season. She was also the first ECU volleyball player to surpass 2,000 career assists. In recognition of her achievements, Jenny was inducted into both the East Carolina University and Anne Arundel County Halls of Fame.

Jenny’s coaching career is equally impressive. She spent over 20 years coaching at the collegiate level, including 10 seasons as head coach at Nicholls and 14 years at Central Arkansas, where she helped transform the program into a national contender. In 2023, she led UCA to a program-record 45 wins, its first ASUN regular season and tournament titles, and its first NCAA Tournament win. That same year, she was named ASUN Coach of the Year and recognized as the NCAA Mid-Major Coach of the Year. Her teams consistently ranked among the nation’s best in pitching and defense, and she developed numerous all-conference, all-region, and award-winning athletes.
